Kaitlin’s Warming Immunity Drink

Our Nutritionist Kaitlin has a warming immunity drink she blends up weekly to help keep colds at bay during this time of year. She calls it “The Fire Tonic”! It contains foods that are known to down regulate inflammation like ginger and honey, as well as oranges which are a great source of vitamin C. Go easy on the cayenne if you don’t like it too spicy!⁠


  • 3cm piece of ginger
  • ⁠2-3 shakes of cayenne pepper⁠
  • 1 lemon
  • Juice ⁠10 oranges, juice (or 500mL orange juice)⁠
  • 2 tsp of honey⁠⁠

Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender. Drink as is OR use this recipe as a base and fill 1/2 cup with the immunity drink and add 1/2 cup of hot water. Store in the fridge.
